Hundreds of people gathered this Saturday to walk for life and raise money for the American Heart Association. In conjunction with the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency, over $172,000 was raised for the American Heart Association, with over $2,000 raised by those walking with their pet and mascot, an American Pit Bull Terrier named Beaner. | ![]() |
These events show how average Americans can open their hearts, minds and wallets and help when needed; those that benefited from this event included Heart Disease sufferers, the participants and the public image of this once revered breed, the American Pit Bull Terrier. |
